DS-RT Awards

The DS-RT Conference has established the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD to recognize a senior researcher for sustained and outstanding contributions to distributed simulation and real-time applications. The award honors internationally recognized leaders whose research, publications, and service have had a lasting impact on the field and the DS-RT community. The recipient is selected by the Award Committee of the current year, and the award is presented at the Conference Banquet in recognition of the recipient’s remarkable career achievements and enduring influence.

Prof. Libero Nigro

for for his sustainable and pioneering research contributions to M&S and Distributed Simulation.

Libero Nigro is a Full Professor of Computer Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering, Informatics, and Mathematical Engineering (DIMES) at the University of Calabria in Rende, Italy, and heads the Software Engineering group at the university.
